Hausmusik — Redtenbacher’s Funkestra

Hausmusik is a big-band funk and funk-fusion album by bassist, arranger and producer Stefan Redtenbacher. It brings together a substantial international cast of players, including Fred Wesley, Elliot Randall, Will Lee, Dave Limina, Stephen “Doc” Kupka, Ben Castle and many more.

Driven by classic four-on-the-floor disco beats, groovilicious bass lines and a large and punchy horn section, Hausmusik brings Redtenbacher’s Funkestra’s funk sound onto the dancefloor. Expect upbeat, brass-rich grooves, Salsoul-influenced disco-funk and the band’s unmistakably detailed arrangements, with Fred Wesley and an international cast of leading players.

The physical release comes as a four-panel CD package with booklet, featuring graphic design by Julian Black.
