Description | This is traditional Blues Shuffle in Bb with a a small twist, i.e. the 2nd chorus is always 13 bars long, rather than the standard 12. This is also an homage to the style of the Count Basie Big Band. Dynamics play a key role in this piece, in particular in letter F. Featured instruments are the Hammond, guitar, tenor sax and a trio improvisation between trumpet/tenor sax/trombone.
